In the year of 2027, a game using the newly advanced Ethernet is super popular. That game's name is Phantasy Star Online 2 or PSO2 for short. Istuski Tachibana is hired by the student council president, Izumi, starts to play the game in order to prove that the school doesn't need to ban the game. Once he starts playing, he uncovers secrets and meets many new friend.
